The thermal receipt printer Epson TM-T88V-iHub acts through its built-in web server as an XML solution for mobile devices. It features proven ePOS print technology and versatile connectivity for POS peripherals. Easily connect a waiter's lock, barcode scanner or keyboard directly to the printer, next to the cash drawer. The ePOS interface handles the communication with web-based applications, as well as additional printers, which, for example, document incoming orders to the kitchen.

Intelligent functionality

The Epson TM-T88V-iHub interprets XML commands of all common HTML5-compliant browsers, such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc. Simply send orders in catering, hotel or retail from an internet or network-enabled tablet PC or smartphone – and the printer prints. The intermediate step of a PC is eliminated, thus avoiding the high cost of hardware and infrastructure. Due to its complete front-side operation, it is also perfect for under-counter installation, saving valuable space. Even changing the paper roll requires only one hand movement at the front-side: just insert and go. The Epson TM-T88V-iHub prints receipts at a speed of 170 mm per second.

Due to ePOS-Print’s ability to recognise all major ESC/POS functions which are sent as XML commands, the Epson TM-T88V-iHub can control cash drawers, as well as additional printers with a wired or wireless UIB interface, such as order-driving kitchen printers.
